Description

To the uninitiated navigation can seem like a mysterious and unattainable skill.  We agree it can appear that way, especially when you see the complicated looking maps and compasses and the far aware stares of hillwalkers scanning the distant horizon for tiny features!

Fortunately, join us for a navigation session and we’ll show you that the key skills can be picked up by a progressive and structured approach by our expert instructors.  It is great fun and the feeling of developing new skills is unbeatable.  Of course, you’ll also be learning while enjoying the best of the Peak District National Park.

Our navigation session suits groups of adults, but is also perfect for families although we’d suggest that it best suits children over 11 years.  We also have lots of places in the Peak District where a navigation session can be combined with one of our other activities such as climbing or abseiling and so do talk to us if this is of interest.  As a stand alone activity we can run navigation sessions for a half or full day.
