Description

Potato Alley, The Beast, Jacob’s Ladder, Rushup Edge – iconic names of just a few of the Peak District National Park’s world class mountain biking trails.  We aren’t about trail centres and uplift though – the trails here are all natural and we have challenges to suit even the most experienced rider.  If that sounds like your group then we will love nothing more than to guide you around some of the best trails in the area.

But don’t worry if that all sounds too difficult.  It’s not all about the most technical options as we also have far more beginner friendly rides in the area too.  Some make use of disused railway tracks, others contour the beautiful reservoir trails of the Derwent Valley and yet others follow leafy singletrack or quiet back lanes.  There are rides for everyone and our mountain bike adventures are perfect for groups of all sizes.

We have great access to bike hire facilities and, for groups of different fitness levels, there are also ebikes available (bikes with a battery powered motor to provide assistance). Please not that there is an additional cost for bike hire but groups with their own bikes often bring them along themselves.

This activity is suitable for most age groups (check with us if you aren’t sure) and, as it comfortably fits into a morning or afternoon session, it can easily be combined with some of our other activities.
