We have been involved in the delivery of ITC first aid courses for many years and we are proud to have trained thousands of people in both the workplace and leisure contexts. ITC is the UK’s leading first aid awarding body and offers market leading training. All our courses are now run through our sister company Tor Lea Training.

Practical and Progressive Training

We believe first aid is best taught by practical and progressive training which allows key skills to be built up gradually – all our courses place a strong emphasis on learning by doing. On our courses you certainly don’t need to worry that you’ll be staring at Powerpoint slides all day!

Remote Area Training

We offer all the key options for those operating in the outdoors.  Our 2 day Outdoor First Aid course is ideal for those operating in remote locations.  The 1 day Outdoor First Aid course suits those who, while still operating off the beaten track, anticipate help arriving fairly quickly.  We are also the only Peak District provider of ITC Advanced Outdoor First Aid courses.  This is a perfect option for those operating in remote expedition terrain.

Workplace Training

Alongside this, we offer a full range of courses for workplace environments.  This includes first aid at work and paediatric courses.  We can also offer bespoke courses – please do call to discuss any particular requirements.

Private and Bespoke Training

We have a full range of scheduled courses but are always happy to arrange private courses at your own venue. In the past we have delivered courses for, amongst others, outdoor centres, forest schools trainers, schools and climbing clubs.  A small selection of previous clients include The National Trust, The BBC,  Peak District Conservation Volunteers, Peak District National Park, World Challenge Expeditions, True Adventures, Schools Worldwide, The Peak District Music Centres and The Austrian Alpine Club.  We have also delivered to many school, scout and adventurous activity organisations.  We are your one stop first aid training provider.

This 2-day 18hr advanced outdoor first aid course is for the experienced first aider who has previously attended a 16 hr outdoor first aid course (or equivalent course) and now wants to push their skills to the next level.

Emergency First Aid at Work (6 hr)

The ITC 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is perfect for school staff acting in a support role to higher qualified personnel and for workplace settings where help can be summoned easily.
