Navigation
Intermediate courses
Based in Snowdonia, this 2-day (plus 1 evening night navigation exercise) course covers all essential navigation skills and on completion participants are able to plan and follow walks away from established paths and tracks. This course incorporates the NNAS silver level syllabus and we give participants the opportunity to be assessed for the award on the final day if they wish. It is suitable for anyone confident in all the elements of the introductory course and is an ideal follow on from successful completion of the NNAS bronze award. As with our introductory course, we always spend as much time out in the mountains as we can. So as well as being a top navigator you will finish this course with plenty of quality kilometres to brag about.
*Please note this course includes a night navigation element that we cover on the first evening (following a recap of the NNAS bronze level skills). This means a very late finish in the summer months!
