Client feedback

For us, this is our most important page.  We went into business to give our customers the very best mountain experiences available by sharing our passion for the outdoors with them.  If our clients go home enriched by their time with us then so do we.  Here is a selection of recent feedback…….

It was a great course and I learnt so much. Now, as you advised, I know I’ve just got to put it all into practice!

Bev Nield (Learn to lead course – Nov 2007)

You helped me ascend a fantastic climb that I never thought I was capable of. Thank you so much for memories that will last a very long time.

Steve (Costa Blanca climber – Dec 2007)

Hi Paul,
I just wanted to say a very big thank you for your equipment advice for our recent visit to Norway. Your recommendations were spot on and the trip was a great success. I hope to catch up with you again for some climbing later this year.

Simon (long standing client seeking advice for visit to Rjukan – Feb 2008)

Hello to all at Peak Mountaineering. I just wanted to let you know how impressed everyone was with the introductory climbing day you organised for us last weekend. Everything felt extremely safe and you really managed to include all abilities and make the day great fun.

Sarah and 2 families (introductory climbing day –Feb 2008)

Hi Cal,
Please pass on our thanks to Paul for the recent winter skills course we attended. Brian and I had a great time and, as usual, Paul managed to make it all seem so effortless (unlike some of the hills we walked up!). Thanks again and hope to see you soon.

Sally and Brian James (winter skills course – Mar 2008)

Thanks for a top day Paul. I’m still on a high 10 days later!

Rod and Dave (winter skills day – Mar 2008)

I don’t usually get around to writing to people after courses and events but I really wanted to drop you a line to thank you for the fantastic mountain biking days we had with you last week. My legs are still aching but the whole trip was brilliant. I learnt loads and really enjoyed the rides we completed and all the new skills I developed. I am sending you a few photos from the day and hope we can meet up again at some point soon for more of the same.

Beth and Alice Jones (private mountain biking course – Apr 2008)

Thank you for helping all the students get so much from their recent training camp. They all thoroughly enjoyed their time with you and I was really impressed with your inspirational leadership.

Clive Doonan (training camp – Apr 2008)

Another great day out. It’s always great fun to be out with you and I always feel so inspired to do more. Thanks very much.

Bill Davidson (private climbing guiding – Apr 2008)

Great organisation, inspiring leadership and loads of laughs. The course exceeded all our expectations and we can’t recommend you highly enough. You WILL be hearing from us again!

Alice and John Cosgrove (introductory navigation course – Apr 2008)

Thanks for a great days climbing Paul. You expertly matched the climbs to my abilities and set manageable objectives so I ended the day with a real sense of achievement – I am completely hooked on climbing and it’s all your fault!

Jo (private guiding in the Lake District - June 2007)

I had a really enjoyable ride with you today and learnt a great deal – Many thanks.

Pete (introduction to mountain biking – July 2007)

Thank you for an excellent day on Tuesday. I can’t believe how enthusiastic you were with a novice like me. You could do with some help on the dodgy jokes though!

Simon (introductory navigation course – July 2007)

We knew it would be good. We just didn’t realise HOW good! (especially Bristly Ridge). Thanks so much for all your hard work.

Bev and Stuart (private guiding on classic scrambles – Aug 2007)

A big thanks for a great adventure Paul. Your attention to detail before the trip was superb and we had a brilliant, fun, exhilarating adventure with you. We will certainly be recommending Peak Mountaineering to all our friends. Please also thank Cal for remaining so patient despite all our silly email questions!

Mike - on behalf of the ‘Marston Marauders’ mountain bike group (classic rides mountain bike guiding in the Peak District – Aug 2007)

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you – it was great!

Steve, Jack, Bill and Sarah (introductory climbing day – Snowdonia Sep 2007)

If, like me, you don’t really know how to avoid a potential ‘touching the void’ situation then I thoroughly recommend one of Peak Mountaineering’s Self-Rescue courses. As well as being a lot of fun it will give you a lot more confidence in your own climbing – you could call it an ‘avoiding the touch’ course!

Dave (climber’s self rescue course – Oct 2007)

Dear Cal,

Just wanted to send you a quick message to say thanks so much for all your hard work in arranging our scrambling trip with Paul. We had selected Peak Mountaineering because you replied so promptly to our initial enquiry (several other people we contacted certainly didn’t!) and you continued this level of service throughout all our dealings with you. Little things like the email to say our cheque had arrived show great attention to detail and a level of service that is often not available anymore. We will certainly be using your company again.

Oh yes. Please also thank Paul for a great few days too!

Mal & Jane (private guiding on classic scrambles – Oct 2007)

Ouch! My legs hurt! But I will be back for more!

Sally (Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge – Nov 2007)
