The challenge everyone wants to do - and with good reason! All the Snowdonia Peaks over 3000ft in one roller - coaster 2 day adventure. The challenge was often known as the 14 peaks but at the last OS survey a 15th peak (Garnedd Uchaf) was found to be just over the magic height. The route is tough - 26 miles of steep ups and downs giving total ascent of 13,000ft but don’t worry - we don’t try and break the current record time of 4 hours 19 minutes set by Colin Donnelly in 1988. What we actually do is complete the walk over 3 days camping in the mountains along the way. This allows plenty of time to enjoy the views and even allows us to take in the odd classic scramble. A brilliant adventure and a very popular choice but requires a reasonable fitness level to enjoy the walk fully.

The North York Moors is one of our largest National Parks (553 square miles) but also one of the least known. This 25-mile overnight expedition gives a real taste of the beauty of this area and traverses some of the country’s most richly varied hill country. There’s a load to see and because we carry everything with us and make a camp along the way, we are not in a big rush. The terrain is relatively easy underfoot and this trip is suitable for all experience levels.

A journalist named Tom Stephenson who, enthused by tales of the Appalachian Way in America, suggested a route of equivalent significance in Britain, conceived the Pennine Way in the early 1930’s. However, due to the many access problems that existed at the time it wasn’t until 1965 that the route was officially opened. Nowadays, this 260-mile classic remains the most famous long distance path in Britain.
This Brilliant 3 day expedition completes the challenging first section traversing Kinder Scout, Bleaklow and Black Hill. We carry all the camping equipment we need but do have the option to use youth hostels or B&B accommodation along the way if preferred. A classic but quite an epic in poor weather so participants need to be up for an adventure and have a good fitness level. A really great challenge.

Your possessions should set you free like a boat or a pair of hiking boots. If you work for your possessions and they don't set you free, what are you working for?
