What a classic! The Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge is a demanding but very rewarding walk taking in the classic summits of Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. It’s traditional to try and complete the walk in under 12 hours and we have always managed that so far – but we’re there to enjoy ourselves too and so are happy to take a more leisurely pace if you prefer. This route, at 24.5 miles and with 5000ft of ascent, does require a good level of fitness and a go for it attitude but you’re ready for a challenge aren’t you?! No previous experience required.

The moorland areas of the Peak District are littered with ageing aircraft wrecks from the war. Every wreck site has its own story and, although it may sound a bit gruesome to use them as a theme for a walk, it actually gets us right off the beaten track onto some beautiful, isolated terrain and paying homage to fallen heroes gives a humbling perspective to a fantastic walk. No experience required.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to spend 5 fabulous days exploring the classic mountains of Snowdonia. Days spent on Snowdon, Tryfan, the Carneddau and the Glyders will allow you to tick off many of Snowdonia’s 3000 ft+ peaks plus we can throw in a few classic scrambles along the way.
We’ve done these walks loads of times but every time is a privilege – it really doesn’t get any better than this. Come and join us. No experience required but five full days needs a reasonable amount of fitness. For this walk we stay in the valley and head onto the hills each day but we can incorporate a high level overnight camp if requested.

Not everyone can spare 5 days so we run a condensed version of the Snowdonia Explorer over 2 long days. We won’t see everything but we’ll try! No experience required. Valley based.

You won't get to where you want to go if you only travel on sunny days.
