Winter Hill Skills 3 Day - February 2016

Peak Mountaineering's 3 day Scottish Winter Skills Course is one of most popular winter options. For the first couple of days we follow the format of our 2 day course and cover a 'toolbox' of key winter skills before putting them into practice on the third 'mountain journey' day.  The first 2 days of skills development will give you the confidence to plan and execute the mountain journey independently and yet still have the safety blanket of being under the watchful eye of an expert instructor.   The course doesn't require previous winter experience and it is suitable for anyone with reasonable fitness levels, a thirst for adventure and a passion for the Scottish mountains.

All the technical equipment you'll need is included, boot hire is available for minimal cost and you can stay with us at our comfortable valley base.  All you need is suitable clothing, a rucksack and the all important camera to share the experience with your friends. Please follow the course details link below for more information.

If you can't spare the extra day you may want to look at our 2 day winter skills course instead.  The first couple of days follow the same format and you'll just miss out the third moutain journey day. Details of Peak Mountaineering's 2 day Scottish Winter Skills Course are available here
