Intermediate (NNAS Silver) - June 2014

Peak Mountaineering's 2 day Intermediate Navigation Course (NNAS Silver) covers all the essential navigation skills participants need to confidently plan and follow walks well away from established paths and tracks in open moorland terrain.  It is the ideal follow on from Peak Mountaineering's Introductory Navigation (NNAS Bronze) course but it's also a suitable first course for those who are already reasonably confident in navigation and who understand all the elements of the introductory course.

In our opinion the Peak District is the very best location to learn navigation skills and we are extremely proud to have been delivering the highest quality training here for many years.  You can be assured of great quality training in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere.

As this course incorporates all the aspects of the NNAS silver level syllabus we give participants the opportunity to be assessed for the award on the second day if they wish.  Full details about the National Navigation Award Scheme are available here.
