High Peaks Wrecks Ramble
The moorland areas of the Peak District are littered with aging aircraft wrecks from the war. Every wreck site has its own story and, although it may sound a bit gruesome to use them as a theme for a walk, it actually gets us right off the beaten track onto some beautiful, isolated terrain and paying homage to fallen heroes gives a humbling perspective to a fantastic walk. No experience required.
