Peak Mountaineering is proud to be an approved Immediate Temporary Care (ITC) centre. ITC is a long established and highly regarded awarding body offering market leading first aid training. All ITC courses place a strong emphasis on learning by doing - on our courses you certainly don't need to worry that you'll be staring at Powerpoint slides all day!
We offer 4 main course types. Our 2 day Outdoor First Aid (Incident Management) course is ideal for those operating in remote locations (and instructors renewing their qualification to revalidate NGB awards), the 1 day Outdoor First Aid (Emergency Action) course suits those operating off the beaten track but who anticipate help arriving fairly quickly, the 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course suits those operating in workplace environments with help nearby and the Paediatric Course is suitable for those working with small children and infants.
As well as our scheduled courses we are always happy to arrange additional courses at your own venue or to run a bespoke course if you have a group looking for training. In the past we have delivered courses for, amongst others, outdoor centres, forest schools trainers, schools and climbing clubs. Specific clients include The National Trust, World Challenge Expeditions, True Adventures Expeditions, Schools Worldwide, The Peak District Music Centres, many school staff from the Sheffield and Stockport Authorities, The Austrian Alpine Club and the Hollowford Centre.
